Coastal repairs

There was an inital requirement for a deep excavation on a sea wall – 30m x 15m x 4m. This was in order to expose existing whaling beams and then to replace them. Vac ex/Brok was utilised for the excavations, we then replace the beams and capped with concrete, followed by filling the area with over 2000t of type one, compacted every 300mm.
