The primary objective was to design and implement a comprehensive high-security perimeter system for a new restricted facility. This system needed to meet stringent security standards, integrate seamlessly with existing infrastructure, and provide both physical and automated access control measures.
The project involved the installation of a robust security perimeter, incorporating Stronguard Crash Rated (PAS68) Palisade Fencing designed to provide a secure and visually cohesive barrier around the facility. Access control systems included two PAS-rated swing gates to regulate vehicular access, along with a 15-meter tracked sliding gate to accommodate larger vehicles and a pedestrian turnstile to manage individual entry. Additionally, extensive civil works were undertaken, encompassing foundations and bases for all security installations as well as comprehensive site-wide ducting to facilitate integration with the site security systems.
Security standards were upheld through the use of PAS68-rated fencing and gates, ensuring resistance against vehicular attacks and aligning with industry best practices for critical infrastructure protection. All installations were designed to integrate with the site’s existing security systems, allowing for centralized monitoring and control. Furthermore, the selection of Stronguard fencing not only provided a high level of security but also complemented the modern architecture of the site with a sleek finish.
During the course of the project, Force Contracting Services was awarded “Sub-Contractor of the Month,” highlighting the team’s commitment to excellence, safety, and on-site collaboration.
