Lagoon de-watering and more

This project was interesting due to the temporary works required in order to undertake the work. Force were required to de-water a substantial lagoon, removing all the lining and disposing of it safely. We then needed to install a temporary bern out of compacted type one to prevent slippage on the lagoon walls. Bore walls were then undertaken to take samples of the existing ground conditions.

What was most interesting around the access side, was that Force had to utilise a military style birdge to cross the existing troughings that housed high voltage power cables, that could not be damaged. Another fine example of our adaptability, and adherence to the highest standards of site safety.
