Presence of Earth Tape Throughout Trench: The discovery of underground earth tape along the trench line required adjustments to prevent disruption and maintain compliance with safety regulations.
Limited Working Space Near Battery Installations: The close proximity of the installation to battery units restricted access for machinery, requiring alternative solutions for fence erection.
Steep Embankments: The varying terrain posed difficulties in maintaining a level and structurally sound fencing line.
Coordination with Other Contractors: With multiple contractors on-site requiring access, some fencing panels had to be left out temporarily to accommodate ongoing works.
Adapted Post Locations: The team strategically modified post positions to work around the earth tape, ensuring compliance with safety regulations while maintaining the fence’s structural integrity.
Manual Handling for Restricted Areas: In areas inaccessible to machinery, fence components were manually transported and installed, ensuring precision and safety.
Ground Build-Up for Steep Areas: The embankments were adjusted using ground build-up techniques to create a stable base for fence installation, mitigating risks associated with uneven terrain.
Collaborative Approach with Other Contractors: Coordination efforts ensured work proceeded efficiently while allowing access for other teams. Temporary gaps were managed effectively to maintain security while accommodating site logistics.
