The piling works are for a level crossing renewals project as part of a Network Rail safety upgrade initiative, we were contracted to install 21No. 114mm diam. x 10mm thick x 8m long Helical screw piles with a 60kNm torque-head attachment; with an installation torque rate of between 15 and 25kNm of torque, with safe working loads of 70kN Compression, 40kN Tension and 5kN Lateral.
Force Rail were easy to deal with and overcame access issues out of their control by adjusting their strategy to enable to the project to complete on time. A Job well done.
